Hah! Now you get to hear all about me. Come on, you know you want to.
But since you don't really give a shit about who I am, I won't tell you. All you need to know is that I'm a grammar Nazi in her early twenties, who hates melodrama and loves creative ways of sculpting language.
I review anonymously. I've reviewed on three other review sites in the past, and discovered that the only way to go is with your own scoring system, your own rules. And the only way is in anonymity, without fear of repercussion or judgment, because only then can I be completely honest. My name, which I made up on the spot when signing someone's guestbook, can be "Janine" for the purposes of this site.
Read my reviews if you want to know what I'm like.
My highest score to date is 108; my lowest is 24. The mean average of all my reviews (last update 18 March '04), is 73%.
I tend to get very involved in reviews. If you're dark and depressed, I'll get dark and depressed. If you're happy and bubbly, I'll get... well, probably pissed off at you, but you never know. No, seriously, I love happy bubbly diaries, I give them scores like 86 and 95.
I hate those silly one-paragraph reviews. I'll get detailed in my reviews, I'll get specific. I'll tell you what I do and don't like, and why that is. What I say in my reviews is far more important than the actual score at the end — some of my favorite diaries have ended up with low scores just because of lame layouts or kindergarten spelling. Don't take the score to heart: Take the comments to heart.
And give me feedback. I love feedback, it makes me feel important. Feeling important is vital to having a happy reviewer. Keep me happy.
And link me.
And tell all your friends to come get reviews here too.
And thank you! Have a honey day. :-)
